The Cell will look into the matters (if any) of depriving a student or a group of students on the basis of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability of access etc. to the education of any type or at any level.

The Cell will try to safeguard the interest of the students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion etc. and also eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any students in all forms as well as to promote equality among students of all sections of the institution.

Gender Sensitisation Cell

With regard to the Supreme Court Judgment and guidelines issued in 1997 to provide for the effective enforcement of the basic human right of gender equality and guarantee against sexual harassment and abuse, more particularly against sexual harassment at work places, the HGEA College of Pharmacy re-establish a Gender Sensitization Cell consisting of the following members has been framed with effective from 1st September 2022.

The aim of the committee is to develop guidelines to combat sexual harassment, violence against women at the colleges. It has further advised to be proactive by developing a conducive atmosphere on the campus, where the status of woman is respected and they are treated with.
